Kids' date with magic and fun

BRS Nagar: The Lodhi Club was a dash of deep red and sparkling white as members celebrated Christmas on the premises. Chirpy children and an even chirpier Santa made the ambience come alive with joy. Parents looked on indulgently as their children had a ball with Santa.
Meticulous arrangements had been made to make the celebrations memorable. More than 500 club members thoroughly enjoyed the delightful blend of music and good food.While many fun activities had been lined up for the children, the highlight of the day was a stellar performance by magician Raj Kumar. Needless to say, he kept the children engrossed.
City-based dancer Abhinav and his troupe comprising 12 children jived to peppy numbers while show host Amy regaled children with witty jokes. The celebrations continued late into the night as club members enjoyed virtuoso performances. Deputy commissioner Rahul Tiwari, who was the chief guest, greeted residents on the occasion. The programme concluded with a dance party in which parents and kids took to the dance floor.
